Electronic Kit to Disable Adaptive Chassis Control

This kit is required when an adaptive chassis equipped vehicle is to be raised or lowered with replacement springs and shocks

How do I know if my T6 has Adaptive Chassis Control?

It was only available in the T6 Highline as an option. The Button is on the left control stack denoted with C & S (Comfort and Sport)

How do I know if my T6.1 has Adaptive Chassis Control?

It is available in the T6.1 Multivan and California as an option labeled 'Driver Profile Selection'. The Button is on the right control stack denoted with MODE. Pressing Mode brings multiple options in the main centre display (Comfort / Sport / Eco etc)

What is ACC / Driver Profile Selection?

Amongst other things, the ACC / Driver Profile Selection allows the driver to change the handling characteristics of the vehicle by selecting the mode for the suspension.

Comfort will be softer in the damping and rebound rates, and Sport will be firmer.

This is achieved by computer controlled oil levels in the shock absorber. Sport will see more oil injected into the shock absorber from the reservoir and Comfort will remove oil from the reservoir.

When do I require this product?

If you wish to raise or lower your van by replacing the suspension with either taller springs & longer shock absorbers or lowering springs (coilovers) and shorter shock absorbers then the factory shock absorbers will need to be removed. This causes an error on the dashboard as the vehicle now believes the adaptive shock absorbers are missing (which is correct, they will be missing)

What does this product do?

Once installed, the replacement sensors will advise the vehicle computer systems that there are no system faults. It will allow all normal operations and not hinder the operation of any of the other features and safety features of the vehicle.
